5 March, 11 June and 17 September
Pastors face certain challenges that come along with the ministries they are in. The same applies to their wives who seek to support them in their tasks and calling. If you are one of these ladies and feel you either want to improve in your role as pastor’s wife, or share your precious experiences with others who are in a similar position, please join us for these conferences. Here we seek to give teaching related to this role as well as to discuss the challenges it brings. This is a special opportunity for the wives of church leaders.
Short Course: Financial Skills I and II
16 April and 21 May
Regarding finances, there are two great ways to improve the local churches. One is to know how to use money in a wise and biblical way. The other is to know how to do the basic bookkeeping. Both skills are greatly needed in the churches. You will find the presentations and workshops to be simple and very practical. All are very welcome, especially those who deal with church finances.
Bible School Consultation
Bible schools and training institutions come together to discuss important educational matters, to learn from each other and encourage one another. This years theme is “Bible Education and the Future: Certain Hope for a Changing Africa.” There is also a special gathering for the Mukhanyo Distance group leaders the day before the conference. The purpose is to connect with one another and discuss how Mukhanyo can improve in the service of distance learning.
Seminar: Personal Relationship with God
Every aspect of Christianity and church ministry starts with your relationship with God. Whether you are unsure about salvation, whether you suspect that your walk with the Lord needs improvement, or whether you want tools to help others in this vital matter, you will greatly benefit from this teaching.
Church Leader’s Conference
Strengthening church leaders is part of the central vision of Mukhanyo Theological College and this year’s theme is very relevant. Church leaders need to know how to respond to the so-called prosperity gospel, which is extremely popular in South Africa and beyond. Pastors need to clarify their own thoughts on the matter and be equipped with biblical teachings so as to faithfully minister the truth regarding prosperity to their people.
