Diploma in Theology
Certificate in Supportive Subjects in Theology at the KwaMhalanga Campus
Description (Unaccredited Programme)
The Certificate in Supportive Subjects for Theology will be introduced at Mukhanyo Theological College in 2015 to prepare students who academically (NSC) do meet degree requirements for Diploma or Bachelor studies in Theology, but still need foundational skills to study at a tertiary level. This is a foundational programme and precondition for Diploma and Bachelor studies, although it has no credit bearing.
Students will learn how to approach learning on a tertiary level. They will be formed by intensive instruction and training. This program provides academic preparation as well as personal development to prepare students for Diploma and Bachelor studies but also for their professional work later on.
The program serves as a supportive preparation year after matric, and its aim is to teach students academic skills, knowledge and attitudes required to succeed in their studies. The program includes skills required for Diploma and Bachelor students in general but also specific skills for students of a Diploma or Bachelor in Theology.
