![]() Most of the Mukhanyo staff are deeply committed to church and welfare work in addition to their full-time or part-time roles at Mukhanyo. Many lecturers are regularly preaching, incorporating what they are teaching their students on weekdays.

Mukhanyo frequently invites visiting professors to present intensive courses. Most undergraduate and postgraduate courses are taught during weekly classes for two semesters annually. However, in the second half of 2023, the following intensive modules are planned:
![]() Mukhanyo is hosting a seminar on 21 and 22 June, featuring guest speaker Dr Joel Beeke. He will present six topics within the themes of Reformed Theology, Piety, and Experiential Preaching. Register online at Mukhanyo Events. ![]() Mukhanyo has reached its 30th year of training Christian leaders to be witnesses of Christ. There are now thousands of alumni across South Africa and in Southern Africa. “Do we make a difference?” “Is our time, efforts and money well spent?” These questions were asked at our recent Annual General Meeting on 22 April, in Pretoria. The answer was a wholehearted “Yes!”. The annual report, presented by our director, Dr Brian DeVries, confirmed this by sharing the following information: ![]() More Sunday school teachers must be trained. This is an urgent and compelling need. Most youth ministers and teachers follow their inclinations, often without a structure or lesson plans. Furthermore, they lack support sufficient from church leadership. Perhaps they were asked to volunteer as Sunday school teachers, but then they received no preparation or guidance. ![]() Mukhanyo continues to develop programmes to equip tent-making pastors and Christian teachers. At present, theological students have the opportunity to be both preachers and teachers – an effective form of tent-making ministry. In the past few years, four new education modules have been compiled, tested and refined, and made available to theological students. |
