Our God is the everlasting God! We can trust Him. We may trust Him! Moreover, if we do trust Him, He will keep us in His peace. What a privilege and what a blessing!

A month has passed since we shared some points for prayer and praise and we gladly do so again:
  1. Thank the Lord with us for the Distance Forum that was held over three days in September. A good number of tutors attended and it was a blessing and encouragement to them.

  2. Our Distance students normally take quite a bit longer to complete their studies as they are doing it part-time. Pray that the Lord will encourage and strengthen them and that they will persevere.

  3. Thank the Lord with us for our new building in Durban! He provided the right place for us and the plan is that we will move in before the end of the year and classes will start there in January 2023, D.V. Please pray for all the practical matters in this regard and those dealing with it.

  4. November is exam time for our contact students. It will start on 8 November at all five campuses/advanced learning centres. Please pray for them as they prepare for each paper and write it – that they will experience the peace of the Lord and that the knowledge they gained through their studies will not only be academically, but also build them up spiritually.

  5. Apart from all the daily activities, the following is on the calendar for November:
    1. Saturday 5 November – Church leaders and Alumni conference at KwaMhlanga campus
    2. Monday 7 November – HR Committee meeting
    3. Wednesday 9 November – Executive Committee meeting
    4. Wednesday 9 November – Audit and Risk Committee meeting
    5. Thursday 17 November – Operations Committee meeting
    6. Monday 21 November – Student Support Committee meeting
    7. Thursday 24 November – Board meeting
    8. Tuesday 29 November – Post-moderation of exam papers

  6. There is expectation as well as a lot of activity going on in preparation for using the new computer systems as from January 2023, D.V. This includes library, finance, student and lecturer portals, and other integrated systems. Please pray with us for:
    1. All the meetings, discussions and preparation that are taking place.
    2. For wisdom for those leading this project.
    3. For staff members that have to receive training.

  7. November is the time of the year when management and staff are very busy with plans for the new academic and financial year that starts on 1 January. Please pray for the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as they are drawing up the teaching schedule, the budget and deal with applications and several other tasks.

Thank you for standing with us through your prayers!
