Programmes

Mukhanyo Theological College gives glory to God by equipping church leaders and other Christians in Africa. 

​As an educational ministry, Mukhanyo promotes mission and evangelism. We believe the Bible is the foundation for all of faith and life. We confess salvation through faith in Christ by grace alone. It is our desire that many people will come to experience the joy of actively living out this confession. ​

Theology Programmes

Mukhanyo Theological College offers the following theological programmes:
  • Focus Programme Certificates (Non-accredited)
  • Christian Discipleship Certificate (Non-accredited)
  • Higher Certificate in Bible Teaching (accredited NQF level 5)
  • Higher Certificate in Church Ministry (accredited NQF level 5)
  • Diploma in Theology (teaching out - accredited NQF level 5)
  • Bachelor of Theology (accredited NQF level 7)
  • Bachelor of Theology Honours (accredited NQF level 8)

General Information

ACADEMIC
  • Modules and lectures are offered in English.
  • The attendance of classes is compulsory. 
  • Classes and examinations will take place at the Johannesburg campus.
  • In order to pass a module, the student must obtain a minimum of 50%.  Students must also obtain a minimum of 40% for ongoing assessments in order to be eligible for writing examinations. 

ADMINISTRATIVE
  • The closing date for applications is 1 November 2020.
  • Late applications will still be accepted the first week of January 2021, subject to a R 100 penalty fee.
  • Applications are subject to a multi-step admissions process.
  • Orientation starts on 12 January 2020.  

REGISTRATION
  • Application forms for 2021 are available at our KwaMhlanga office, or at any one of our Advanced or Distance Learning Support Centres, or online.
  • All new applicants are to provide the following with registration: Two ID photos; Certified copy of your ID/Passport; Certified copy of your school-leaving certificate (e.g. Grade 12 / matric certificate); completed Church Leader's Testimonial from your pastor stating your current membership status and describing your Christian character.
  • A non-refundable administration fee is payable with registration.
